Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage site measurements, tender participation, contract administration and subcontract management, ensuring successful delivery of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites periodically to conduct meetings, perform on‑site measurements and collect project data.
• Calculate quantities and assist in preparing bids for private and public tenders.
• Assess and submit monthly progressive claims and recommend progress payments for subcontractors.
• Certify and evaluate completed work, administer contract variations for main and subcontract works.
• Prepare documentation for contract processes from shortlisting to award, including evaluation and recommendation of contractors.
• Maintain records, correspondence, meeting minutes and variation orders for main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop method statements and work procedures to guide project execution and compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants and safety personnel to uphold site safety standards.
• Manage awarding of sub‑contracts and prepare related contractual documents.
• Source and purchase materials required for production and finalize final accounts to close out projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of local experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• Proficient knowledge of public and private Conditions of Contract used in Singapore.
