Quantity Surveyor – Junior Executive (Permanent)

About the role

The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its construction team in Singapore. This junior‑executive position offers a permanent contract and the chance to work on a variety of building projects across the island.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates during the tender stage.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout construction to keep projects within budget.
• Administer contracts, manage variations, claims and change orders in line with contractual requirements.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and provide cost analysis to project managers.
• Prepare valuations and interim payment certificates for contractors and clients.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to resolve cost‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate project records, documentation and contract files.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and quality against specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of final accounts and project close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or contracts management.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, including familiarity with the Singapore Standard Form of Contract.
• Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting and financial analysis.
