Quantity Surveyor – M&E (Junior)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor specialised in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves managing costs, quantities and contracts for M&E installations on large‑scale projects, supporting project managers and ensuring financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Track budgets and quantities for main M&E materials such as rebars, tiles and fittings.
• Measure work, prepare payment applications and evaluate variation orders for subcontractors.
• Review construction drawings and develop accurate quantity take‑offs.
• Analyse maintenance, material and contract costs to secure the best commercial terms.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors and subcontractors to resolve cost‑related issues.
• Prepare reports, contracts, budgets, risk assessments and other project documentation.
• Update budgets and material orders when design changes occur.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Good knowledge of construction processes and contract administration.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise, plan and strategise effectively.
