Quantity Surveyor – Residential & Construction

About the role

Our client in the construction sector is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support residential projects, including HDB and condominium developments. The role focuses on managing the tender process from document collection to final submission.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse tender documents, mastering project drawings and specifications.
• Perform bidding quantity calculations and guide junior staff.
• Prepare accurate bills of quantities and detailed quantity take‑offs.
• Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to compare pricing.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, negotiate competitive prices.
• Consolidate and verify bidding calculations and documentation.
• Develop and maintain unit price tables for tender submissions.
• Compile final bidding quotation lists for management review.
• Archive all tender offer data and documentation.
• Conduct risk analysis, value management and cost control during the tender phase.

Required profile

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of construction experience, preferably on HDB or condominium projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
• Familiarity with Glodon software and ability to work under tight deadlines.
