R&D Manager - ROV & Subsea Survey Operations

About the role

Lead research and development initiatives for ROV and subsea survey technologies to enhance project efficiency, safety, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and evaluate new technologies relevant to offshore, subsea, survey, positioning, and ROV operations.
• Develop and implement technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, systems, and processes.
• Lead R&D projects by planning, testing, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and methods.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and technical teams to diagnose challenges and deliver solutions.
• Liaise with technology providers, equipment manufacturers, and external partners to support R&D initiatives.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, feasibility studies, specifications, and recommendations for management.
• Monitor industry and technology trends to inform long‑term ROV and subsea technology strategy.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Interest or knowledge in offshore, marine, subsea, ROV, survey, or positioning technologies.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
