R&D Process Engineer (Thin Film)

About the role

As an R&D Process Engineer you will design and optimise manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies, collecting and analysing data, performing hardware characterisation and troubleshooting complex engineering issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design experiments, collect data, analyse results and compile reports within safety guidelines.
• Perform hardware characterisation on advanced systems and troubleshoot complex problems using root‑cause analysis.
• Generate internal and external technical documentation, presentations and reports.
• Interact with customers to resolve process engineering issues with limited supervision.
• Measure film properties, interpret data and work with vendors and suppliers.
• Implement new technologies, products and analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• PhD, Master or Bachelor in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor process development (CVD, PVD, ALD).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solver attitude with a quality‑mindset.
