Regional Accounting Shared Services Leader

About the role

Esco Lifesciences Group is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead its Regional Accounting Shared Services function. Based in Bintan, Indonesia, the role will support the company’s rapid global expansion by ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing cash flow, and driving process standardisation across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes in line with IFRS and group policies.
• Manage a regional Shared Services team located in Bintan.
• Optimise Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay and General Ledger processes.
• Drive cash‑flow optimisation through effective receivables, inventory and payables management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Oversee account reconciliations, treasury activities and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Support ERP optimisation and digital transformation initiatives, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing accounting organisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading Accounting or Finance Shared Services operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, GST, corporate tax and statutory reporting.
• Proven track record in regional team leadership and process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) highly desirable.
