Regional Commercial Manager (Travel Retail)

About the role

The client, a leading player in the Travel Retail sector, is expanding across Asia‑Pacific and seeks an experienced Regional Commercial Manager to lead growth of its liquor portfolio. You will act as the primary commercial partner for global liquor brands and distributors, shaping strategy and execution across multiple APAC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with global liquor brands and distributors to drive commercial performance in APAC travel retail channels.
• Develop and implement regional growth plans for airport and duty‑free environments.
• Identify new market opportunities, emerging brands and partnership prospects to strengthen the portfolio.
• Lead commercial negotiations on product listings, promotions, investment support and business terms.
• Analyse data, consumer insights and pricing to improve category performance.
• Collaborate with country teams to optimise assortment, inventory and promotional effectiveness.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and evolving consumer preferences in wines & spirits.

Required profile

• 8‑15+ years of experience in Wines & Spirits, Liquor, Global Travel Retail, Duty‑Free or related consumer goods.
• Proven track record managing regional distributors, key accounts or travel‑retail operators.
• Strong understanding of the APAC travel‑retail and liquor landscape.
• Experience with premium or luxury spirits brands is highly advantageous.
• Commercially driven with strong negotiation, stakeholder management and business development capabilities.
• Comfortable operating across multiple markets and cultures.
