Regional Consolidation Accountant

About the role

A leading beverage company with strong regional growth prospects is looking for a Regional Consolidation Accountant in Singapore. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role partners with stakeholders across Southeast Asia and offers broad exposure to financial reporting, group consolidation, budgeting and business performance analysis. The position is permanent, based in Singapore, with a base salary of SG$5,500 to SG$6,500 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly group consolidation and ensure timely month-end financial closing.
• Manage full sets of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support strategic planning, annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
• Prepare monthly flash reports, management reports and financial performance analyses.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide commentaries to support management decisions.
• Review, develop and enhance financial systems, controls and reporting processes.
• Take part in finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects and ad hoc assignments.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in external audit and commercial accounting or finance environments.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts and group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Sound knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Analytical, patient, collaborative and adaptable, able to work across functions and countries.
