Regional Corporate Services Operations Project Manager (Asia Pacific)

About the role

Group Operations manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and aims to deliver an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure focused on productivity, quality and control, technology, people capability and innovation. The bank is looking for an experienced Regional Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects across Asia Pacific markets, helping to improve digital offerings and the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of regional projects, from initiation to closure, including scope, objectives, deliverables, plans, resources, timelines and budgets.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders such as operations, business units, IT teams and regional partners.
• Drive the implementation and improvement of digital solutions and deploy AI-first digital platforms to improve employee experience.
• Support the expansion of regional system functionality across markets, taking account of local regulations and market needs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, including cash management, liquidity management and reconciliation.
• Ensure projects comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress, report regularly to management and use data and analytics to inform decisions.

Required profile

• Proven end-to-end project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services, with a focus on digital platforms or regional initiatives.
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders across different locations.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of bank systems is a plus, e.g. IBPM or equivalent workflow systems, and core banking systems such as CMCP, Finacle or C++.

The position is based at the DBS Asia Hub, full-time and regular schedule.
