Regional Financial Controller (Finance Business Partner)

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will partner with regional leadership to drive financial performance across Asia for a leading ship management organisation. Reporting to the GM Finance, you will lead a team of vessel controllers and act as a strategic finance advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide forward‑looking, insight‑driven analysis of regional and customer financial performance.
• Advise senior leaders on commercial and operational decisions, integrating finance into business planning.
• Evaluate customer profitability, pricing, and cost levers; contribute to contract negotiations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling‑forecast cycles, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance standards and risk management practices.
• Develop and manage a regional team of vessel controllers.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA; CA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in FP&A and finance business partnering.
• Proven track record in commercial finance, stakeholder management and financial modelling.
• Experience with contracts, pricing and customer profitability analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
