Regional Financial Controller

About the role

A global industrial solutions multinational, operating in more than 100 countries, is recruiting a Regional Financial Controller in Singapore. Reporting to the Regional Finance Leadership team, the role partners with senior business leaders to drive profitable growth, strategic decision-making and performance management across the region. Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance advisor to business leaders on strategic and operational decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve profitability, growth and capital allocation.
• Lead monthly business performance reviews and provide actionable financial insights.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial target setting.
• Perform detailed P&L analysis, identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Support investment appraisals, business cases, scenario modelling and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure strong governance, financial discipline and adherence to company policies.
• Lead continuous improvement through data analytics, dashboards and enhanced reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling, Commercial Finance or related functions.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA or MBA viewed favourably.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge business decisions constructively.

Required skills

• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance management and business planning.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, Power BI, SAP and financial planning tools.
