Regional IT Infrastructure & Security Manager

About the role

A regional organisation is seeking an experienced Regional IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to oversee its IT operations, infrastructure and security across multiple locations. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership, keeping the technology environment secure, resilient and scalable while supporting digital workplace improvements and regional business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of IT systems and services across headquarters, branch offices and overseas entities, setting standards for procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance and replacement of IT equipment.
• Manage third-party vendors and service providers, including service delivery, issue resolution and project coordination.
• Oversee LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks and cloud infrastructure, monitor performance, maintain secure connectivity between offices and remote users, and manage servers, shared storage and file systems.
• Manage Windows, macOS and mobile endpoints, and integrate Active Directory, identity and access management, MDM and cross-platform file sharing.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple iCloud and other apps in a hybrid environment, with controls over user accounts, email, collaboration tools and data access.
• Implement security controls (access rights, endpoint protection, antivirus, patching, device compliance), DLP measures, firewall security and endpoint monitoring.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation and security awareness programmes.
• Develop regional IT policies, standards and audit controls aligned with ISO 27001 and GDPR, and document assets, access controls and audit evidence.
• Lead infrastructure, cloud, security and integration projects, support overseas subsidiaries, and evaluate emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 8 years of IT infrastructure, MIS or technology operations experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity.
• Proven experience supporting multi-site or multinational operations.
• Working proficiency in Chinese is required.
• Travel to offices within Singapore and occasional regional business travel may be required.
