Regional Retail Design Executive – Visual Merchandising (APAC)

About the role

The Regional Retail Design Executive will support strategic visual merchandising (VM) planning across Asia Pacific, ensuring every retail space delivers a consistent, elevated consumer experience that reflects the brand’s image. You will lead the creation and execution of merchandising concepts, collaborate with affiliate teams, and drive high‑quality creative output.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop merchandising display themes and guidelines aligned with marketing plans and global direction.
• Plan retail space, design and curate branded environments, and produce planograms for consistent execution.
• Review vendor packages, conduct counter audits, and manage post‑install reviews to ensure compliance with VM standards.
• Support ad‑hoc corporate design projects, including collateral, event visuals, meeting space branding, and website content visualization.
• Provide guidance to affiliate teams and production partners on design details and merchandising production.
• Monitor competitors, emerging trends, and retail technologies to inform future VM strategies.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in visual merchandising design, product/industrial design, or interior design.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail design or visual merchandising.
• Strong eye for detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D Rhino and AutoCAD.
• Advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience in drafting, 3D & 2D space planning.
• Video editing and photography capabilities.
