Regional Retail Design Executive, Visual Merchandising

About the role

Shiseido is looking for a Regional Retail Design Executive to lead visual merchandising across the Asia Pacific region. You will ensure every retail space reflects the brand’s premium image, develop creative concepts, and deliver high‑quality visual solutions that enhance the consumer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop merchandising display themes, guidelines and planograms aligned with marketing plans and global direction.
• Plan and design retail spaces, curate branded environments, and review vendor packages before construction.
• Conduct counter audits, post‑install reviews and develop mitigation plans when needed.
• Support corporate design projects such as collateral, event visuals, meeting space branding and website visualisation.
• Provide advice to affiliate teams and production partners on visual merchandising details.
• Develop innovative merchandising solutions, create visual assets and support global creative teams.
• Monitor competitors, emerging trends and new retail technologies to propose enhancements to visual impact and storytelling.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in visual merchandising design, product/industrial design or interior design.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in retail design or visual merchandising.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D Rhino and AutoCAD.
• Advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience in drafting, 3D/2D space planning.
• Video editing and photography capabilities.
