Remote Cybersecurity Analyst – Asia Hours

About the role

Vigilbase is seeking a remote Cybersecurity Analyst to provide 24/7 coverage for its customers during Asia business hours. The analyst will join a distributed team spanning Africa, Dubai and North America, ensuring seamless follow‑the‑sun security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts during Asia‑time‑zone shifts.
• Support customer security operations, manage escalations and follow incident response workflows.
• Use the Flarehawk platform and related tools to document investigations, reduce alert noise and improve handoffs.
• Coordinate with teams in Africa, Dubai and North America to maintain continuity of coverage.
• Write clear investigation notes, customer summaries and escalation recommendations.
• Contribute to the improvement of analyst playbooks, shift handoffs and overall operational quality.

Required profile

• Experience in a SOC, cybersecurity operations, incident response, IT security or technical support environment.
• Availability to work Asia business hours or an agreed shift schedule.
• Strong written communication and disciplined handoff practices.
• Understanding of alerts, logs, endpoint/network/cloud signals and investigation workflows.
• Comfortable working remotely with distributed international teams.
