Remote Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant (EA or CPA) to join a leading finance organization on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing your tax expertise to train next‑generation AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear, concise feedback.
• Logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Experience working with tax documentation and regulatory requirements.
