About the role
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at NTU seeks a Research Associate to advance Intelligent Manufacturing through Industrial AI. You will contribute to cutting‑edge projects, develop novel AI methods, and support the research group’s objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on Industrial AI and develop innovative AI algorithms.
- Gather and formalize domain knowledge to inform project requirements.
- Prepare and manage project performance, documentation, and publications.
- Mentor students and junior researchers, fostering long‑term research agendas.
- Represent the research group in collaborations and stakeholder engagements.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with strong academic results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead research activities and present findings.
- Experience in Industrial AI domains and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with AI/ML development and implementation.
