About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Fellow to develop high‑speed, high‑efficiency analog and RF integrated circuits. The role combines cutting‑edge research with occasional teaching support for labs and tutorials.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and test RF power‑management ICs and other analog/mixed‑signal/RF circuits.
- Manage the full development cycle: circuit design, simulation, modeling, layout, verification and measurement.
- Develop scripts and algorithms to automate analog IC design tasks.
- Prepare research papers, technical reports and technology disclosures.
- Assist with teaching activities, including supervising laboratory sessions and tutorials.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or a related discipline (entry‑level candidates welcome).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IC design or electronics.
- Familiarity with analog, power‑management, RF, ADC/DAC IC design.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Cadence design tools.
- Analog IC design expertise.
- Power‑management and RF circuit design.
- ADC/DAC design knowledge.
- Ability to write scripts and develop design algorithms.
