About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Fellow to advance its work on Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) using Reconfigurable Intelligent Metasurfaces (RIS). The role involves developing algorithms, conducting simulations and experiments, and publishing high‑impact research results.
Key responsibilities
- Design algorithms for Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC).
- Utilise advanced antenna techniques such as Reconfigurable Intelligent Metasurfaces (RIS) and Stacked Intelligent Metasurfaces (SIM).
- Perform simulations and conduct experiments in relevant scenarios.
- Document research outcomes for top international conferences and journals.
- Prepare progress reports for the project.
- Collaborate with other research fellows and PhD students on system development.
Required profile
- PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Strong publication record.
- Prior experience conducting experiments (preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of ISAC and RIS (highly preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
