About the role
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is looking for a Research Fellow interested in antimicrobial resistance and bioinformatics. The research group studies environment-microbe-human complex interactions, and the fellow will work on a project profiling antimicrobial resistance and bacterial communities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous study design.
- Perform in-depth, critical data analyses.
- Communicate research findings through presentations and high-quality journal publications.
- Assist in supervising research students within the group.
Required profile
- PhD in microbiology, bioinformatics, computational biology or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and with minimum supervision.
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with group members and collaborators.
Required skills
- Experience with Python, Linux and HPC.
