Research & Insights Lead (Senior Executive/AVP) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Research & Insights Lead at senior executive level to drive data‑driven insights for board composition and diversity initiatives. The role combines strategic research, data analysis and project management to support the Council’s decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyse data on board composition, focusing on women’s representation within Singapore‑based companies and organisations.
• Monitor international board diversity trends, regulations and best practices, translating findings into actionable policy recommendations.
• Prepare briefing notes, presentations, dashboards, reports and executive summaries for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Identify and develop research topics, partnering with consulting firms, research institutes and other organisations.
• Ensure data quality, manage external data sources and maintain relationships with data providers.
• Support Council operations by organising meetings, tracking action items, maintaining records and updating the website.
• Lead or co‑lead projects and strategic initiatives, developing project plans, risk registers and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, research, project or programme management.
• Degree in statistics, business analytics, social science or a related discipline.
• Experience in management consulting, research organisations, professional services, industry associations, public sector or strategy functions is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
