Research Manager

About the role

The Research Manager will lead and oversee contracted research projects across Singapore’s education sector, ensuring timely delivery, high‑quality outcomes, and effective knowledge translation for policymakers and ed‑tech stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor research projects, maintaining tracking systems and providing regular progress reports.
• Coordinate research administration and governance, ensuring data‑management compliance and facilitating collaboration between schools and higher‑learning institutes.
• Oversee programme operations, including budget management, procurement, vendor coordination, and adherence to government financial policies.
• Build strategic partnerships with local and international researchers and institutions, identifying opportunities for rapid research initiatives.
• Translate research findings into practice by developing dissemination strategies, practitioner guides, policy briefs, and actionable insights.
• Support stakeholder engagement and capability development through cross‑functional coordination, professional development programmes, and monitoring of rapid research initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in educational research, sociology, psychology or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting or conducting research projects, preferably in education settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear reports, briefs, and presentation materials.
