Resident Architect - LTA Infrastructure Project

About the role

Citadel Search is recruiting an experienced, registered Resident Architect to lead and supervise all architectural works on an LTA project. The role ensures compliance with approved drawings, specifications and contractual and LTA requirements from construction through handover until Certificate of Works Completion (CWW) is obtained.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all architectural works on site, ensuring quality and compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, LTA and contractual requirements.
• Drive the architectural workstream from design through construction to handover.
• Coordinate with the LTA Architectural Team, Architectural Consultant, contractors, RTOs and other disciplines (MEP, civil, structural, railway systems, specialist works) to resolve interfaces and set technical direction.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups and method statements.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and quality, and resolve site issues and design discrepancies.
• Handle technical issues including RFIs, queries, site instructions, non-conformances, defects and rectification.
• Oversee the close-out: completion, testing, defect rectification and handover.
• Maintain records of inspections, submissions, approvals, defects and handover.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience, including 5 years in construction supervision of complex projects.
• Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore.
• Familiarity with LTA requirements, specifications, construction procedures and documentation.
• Good coordination and communication with consultants, contractors and LTA project teams.
