Resident Engineer (Senior)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Resident Engineer to lead a team of technical supervisors on construction sites across Singapore. You will ensure that all activities meet regulatory standards and client expectations while driving timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor technical supervisors to guarantee compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Report to the C&S Qualified Person and coordinate closely with regulatory authorities and contractors.
• Supervise structural works, identify non‑conformities, and enforce corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health and safety compliance in line with MOM guidelines.
• Oversee civil and structural engineering activities on site.
• Participate in progress, variation, and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
• Registered Resident Engineer (BCA / IES / ACES).
• Experience with precast, post‑tensioning, and steel structure projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Singapore Building Control Act and Construction Regulations.
• Strong knowledge of structural materials, details, shop drawings, and local construction practices.
• Basic understanding of architectural and M&E details.
