Resident Physician

About the role

NHG is recruiting a Senior/Resident Physician who provides first-line clinical coverage, handles more complex cases and guides junior doctors using a broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line clinical coverage and manage more complex cases
• Guide junior doctors in their practice
• Assist in running clinics
• Assist in carrying out procedures and/or operations as permitted by the senior doctors

Required profile

• Active clinical practice
• Basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
• Postgraduate medical qualifications (e.g. MRCP) registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
• Resident Physician: at least 3 years' experience as a Medical Officer (post housemanship) or equivalent in the relevant specialty, or a postgraduate qualification in that field
• Senior Resident Physician: at least 7 years' experience as a Medical Officer or Resident Physician or equivalent in the relevant specialty, or a postgraduate qualification in that field
