Resource Support Officer – Science Lab (Clementi)

About the role

The Resource Support Officer will be deployed at Nan Hua Primary School to assist the Science department. This entry‑level position involves preparing laboratory resources, maintaining equipment, and supporting enrichment programmes in a primary school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare resources and materials for science laboratory activities, enrichment programmes and competitions.
• Set up and clean up equipment before and after laboratory lessons.
• Label, record and maintain inventories of teaching materials and laboratory apparatus.
• Conduct stock checks, update breakage records and replenish consumables.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety of science laboratories and storerooms.
• Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety procedures and check safety devices.
• Record and report incidents to the Science Head of Department.
• Perform filing and other duties as assigned by the school.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with a willingness to learn.
• Interest in science laboratory management; prior school experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
