Respiratory Therapist - ICU and Ward Care

About the role

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to help establish its advanced cardiorespiratory services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in intensive care units and general wards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and titrate assisted ventilation
• Manage various ventilatory modes and equipment
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team

Required profile

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy/Care from recognised institutions
• Respiratory Therapist credentials in the country of training and licensure
• Respiratory Therapists must be certified by the Respiratory Therapy Credential Evaluation Panel (CEP) to practice
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in respiratory care (ICU experience preferred)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certificate
