Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Join a prestigious hospitality group in Singapore as the Restaurant General Manager of its flagship dining venue. You will lead all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring every guest experience exceeds expectations while fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food, beverage, service and hospitality standards.
• Lead front‑of‑house service, engaging directly with guests from greeting to farewell.
• Coordinate communication between front‑of‑house and culinary teams during service.
• Develop and execute sales and profit plans, managing cost control and profitability.
• Direct ordering, inventory management and stock optimisation across all departments.
• Schedule staff to meet business needs while controlling labour costs.
• Manage cash handling, loss‑prevention procedures and safe deposits.
• Supervise administration tasks such as payroll, opening/closing routines and facility inspections.
• Provide consistent feedback, coaching and disciplinary actions, and manage POS back‑office functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in a senior leadership role.
• Proven ability to drive team performance, maintain high service standards and achieve financial targets.
• Strong communication skills to liaise between front‑of‑house and kitchen teams.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on guest satisfaction and staff development.
