Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead the daily operations of our island‑wide dining venues, ensuring smooth service, profitability and an exceptional guest experience. This full‑time position reports to senior management and is pivotal in maintaining high standards across front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening, service and closing procedures to guarantee seamless operations.
• Maintain food and beverage quality, presentation and consistency.
• Coordinate front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities, ensuring clear communication.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Lead, motivate and manage the service team, handling recruitment, training and scheduling.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor daily sales, expenses and profitability, implementing cost‑control measures.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels and stock rotation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, resolve complaints promptly and foster a guest‑focused culture.
• Support promotions, special events and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and local licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing restaurant operations or a similar hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and financial acumen.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
• Good understanding of health, safety and licensing regulations.
