Restaurant Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations at a luxury hotel, ensuring high standards of service, sanitation, and financial performance. The role involves supporting menu planning, assisting front‑of‑house staff during peak periods, and continuously improving guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage restaurant staff, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
• Maintain service, cleanliness, and food safety standards across restaurant, bar/lounge, and room service areas.
• Review staffing levels to meet guest service expectations, operational needs, and financial targets.
• Lead the food‑and‑beverage team through effective communication, coaching, and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, local liquor laws, and food‑handling regulations.
• Monitor alcohol service to guarantee legal compliance.
• Drive exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and perform various employee positions in their absence.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation, service standards, and local liquor regulations.
