Retail Operations Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Operations Trainer to align the vocational curriculum with the WSQ Framework, develop responsive programmes and support DSS students in achieving WSQ certifications and course accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan engaging and well‑paced lessons taking account of diverse learner profiles.
• Deliver lessons using evidence‑based pedagogy and meaningful activities.
• Implement appropriate assessment modes, provide accurate feedback and instructional supports.
• Plan and deliver comprehensive on‑site vocational programmes to develop work‑related skills.
• Build strong relationships with students through care, concern and encouragement.
• Design and implement positive classroom routines to create a safe, conducive learning environment.
• Implement techniques and behaviour plans for students with complex behaviours.
• Proactively engage in professional development and participate in professional learning teams.
• Manage daily administrative tasks such as tracking attendance and updating families.
• Perform Department Quality Assurance Management tasks.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma/Higher NITEC in Retail Operations or Retail Operations – Omni Channel (E‑Commerce).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial position in warehousing.
• Experience in E‑Commerce/Omni Channel (advantage).
• Experience in teaching or special needs education (advantage).
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude.
