Robotics Software Engineer

About the role

DSO National Laboratories is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join its Robotics Division, which develops advanced robotic systems for air, land and maritime domains. You will work on designing, implementing and testing software that controls autonomous platforms and integrates with hardware components.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit software requirements from end‑users and design a safe, secure software architecture for robotic applications.
• Develop high‑quality code in C, C++, C# or Python to meet functional specifications.
• Create and execute test cases to verify software functionality and performance.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to conduct integration tests in laboratory and field environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering.
• Proven experience programming in C, C++, C# and/or Python.
• Familiarity with object‑oriented analysis and design principles.
• Interest in developing software that interacts with diverse robotic components.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
