About the role
The Room Service Server delivers memorable dining experiences for guests by providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service. Working within a luxury hotel environment, you will coordinate with the kitchen, set up service areas, and ensure each guest feels valued.
Key responsibilities
- Set tables, arrange dining settings, and maintain clean work areas.
- Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
- Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
- Handle menu verification, ensure accurate billing, and process transactions.
- Maintain safety standards, follow company policies, and uphold uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move on varied surfaces for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry objects as described in the duties.
