Safety Coordinator (WSH Coordinator)

About the role

The Safety Coordinator (WSH Coordinator) will lead daily safety briefings, monitor compliance with Singapore's workplace safety regulations, and conduct inspections to ensure a safe environment across sites islandwide. The role reports to management and works closely with site teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and updates.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory workplace safety and health requirements.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety rules and regulations to foster a culture of safety and prevent accidents.
• Maintain, update, and securely retain all relevant safety records and certificates in accordance with regulatory authority requirements.

Required profile

• Hold a valid Qualified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator certification under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Workplace Safety & Health, preferably within the construction industry.
• Ability to commence work on short notice or immediately.
