Sales Development Representative

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative you will help drive revenue growth for Dow Jones Risk by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with the Risk Sales team and report to the Manager, Sales Development.

Key responsibilities

• Call current and prospective clients to set up meetings for the Professional Information Business suite of products.
• Collaborate with Sales Directors, Account Executives and Sales Specialists to design targeted sales campaigns.
• Identify target groups, build prospect lists and generate qualified sales leads.
• Qualify new leads to meet and exceed personal and team revenue goals.
• Develop internal relationships across Data Strategy, Product, Marketing and Sales functions.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, contacts and campaigns in the global CRM.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in business development, sales or a related field.
• Comfort with high‑volume outbound outreach and meeting activity targets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to influence prospects and advance the sales process.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
