Sales Engineer – HVAC Solutions

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow its HVAC portfolio. You will work directly with contractors, consultants and end‑users, translating their needs into tailored HVAC solutions that drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC project opportunities through customer visits, networking and outreach, including cold calls.
• Promote Johnson Controls HVAC products and systems to design institutes, industry associations and integrators to raise market awareness.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Plan and execute annual secured‑order strategies, meet sales targets and achieve year‑on‑year growth.
• Prepare tenders, proposals and lead negotiations to secure profitable orders.
• Track order progress, coordinate with cross‑functional teams and provide monthly performance reports.
• Continuously update product knowledge and share market intelligence to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in HVAC sales or engineering.
• Self‑motivated, hardworking and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and selling abilities.
