Sales Engineer

About the role

Fuku is looking for a Sales Engineer in Singapore, a client-facing, field-based position that combines engineering expertise with business development. The role engages industrial clients, understands their operational challenges and identifies solution opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and connect with clients in industrial sectors
• Conduct meetings to understand client operations and challenges
• Propose solution concepts tailored to client needs
• Qualify opportunities and support business development activities
• Maintain a pipeline of clients and keep accurate records
• Conduct 5-10 client meetings per week and build a pipeline of business opportunities

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or technical sales, or in engineering roles such as maintenance, operations, plant or facilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with client interaction and site visits
• Proactive, self-driven and curious about industrial operations

Preferred profile

• Engineers interested in moving into a sales or client-facing role
• Sales experience in technical or industrial environments
• Confidence in engaging new clients and building professional relationships
