Sales Executive, Media & Sponsorships

About the role

Thomson Reuters is hiring a Sales Executive, Media & Sponsorships in Singapore. The role sells print and online advertising and secures event sponsorship for accounts in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. It is primarily a hunting role, but it also involves building and maintaining client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Meet monthly and annual advertising and sponsorship revenue targets, working individually and with the sales team
• Work with the publishing and events teams to secure revenue in a timely manner
• Deliver a high level of customer service to existing and new clients
• Generate new business by identifying, contacting and proposing marketing solutions to new clients
• Work with editorial, event and management teams to improve product and service offerings and ensure timely fulfilment
• Provide timely, accurate and informative reports to senior management
• Manage the pipeline to identify enough leads for short- and long-term sales objectives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• At least 3 years of successful advertising and sponsorship sales experience (6+ years of total work experience)
• Results-driven and customer-focused
• Attention to detail, innovative and able to work independently

Preferred qualifications

• Fluent in English
• Effective communication skills
