Sales Manager – Construction Industry

About the role

ALTRON ENGINEERING is looking for a results‑driven Sales Manager to lead its sales team and accelerate growth within the construction sector. The role combines strategic planning, client relationship management and team leadership to deliver revenue targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and profitability goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, consultants, architects, engineers and government agencies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, procurement and project teams to provide accurate solutions.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to maximise performance.
• Set sales targets, track KPIs and produce regular sales reports for management.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade exhibitions and client meetings.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM database and sales pipeline.
• Participate in tender submissions and large‑project bidding processes.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of construction materials, building processes and market trends.
• Proven experience in B2B sales within the construction or related sectors.
• Strong client‑facing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using CRM systems.
