Sales Representative – Established Pharmaceuticals Division

About the role

Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) is hiring a Sales Representative (and also a Senior Sales Representative) in Singapore. The role ensures consistent sales growth and achievement of sales targets in assigned territories by identifying business opportunities and expanding the customer base while maintaining existing business. Travel is required about 50% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage territory through sales report analysis and market intelligence, developing clear, measurable sales plans and tactics.
• Identify and develop new business with existing and potential clients.
• Use tools such as CLM, ARISE and SmartRep to reach key customers and solve problems within budget.
• Understand customer needs, explain product benefits and address concerns.
• Negotiate agreements that create long-term, win-win customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, ethical standards and corporate business and safety procedures.
• Submit product quality complaints, adverse events and medical inquiries to the appropriate QA, PV and Medical functions on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Life Sciences or a related health science.
• 0-3 years of strong sales track record for Sales Representative; minimum years of experience preferred for Senior Sales Representative.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Driven, team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
