SAP Platform & Security Engineer

About the role

The SAP Platform & Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the regional SAP system landscape. Working within a cloud‑based environment, the engineer will manage core Basis operations, authorizations, and collaborate with external partners to keep the infrastructure resilient and aligned with business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the SAP S/4HANA on RISE landscape and coordinate foundational operations with SAP.
• Administer SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments and related cloud applications.
• Execute complex Basis tasks such as client copies, system refreshes, and client exports/imports.
• Design, create, and maintain roles using PFCG; handle user provisioning and troubleshoot authorization issues (ST01, SU53).
• Manage cryptographic setups (STRUST) and SSL/TLS certificates for S/4HANA and BTP.
• Maintain the Transport Management System (STMS) and ensure smooth change deployments.
• Monitor system health, performance, and logs; open and track support incidents with SAP.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery drills and coordinate with SAP to ensure business continuity.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on SAP Basis Administration and SAP Security/Authorizations experience.
• Experience with S/4HANA on cloud and SAP RISE framework preferred.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills advantageous for regional communication.
• Ability to support multiple countries in the region (Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, etc.).
