Security Monitoring Analyst

About the role

ESET is hiring a Security Monitoring Specialist (listed as Security Monitoring Analyst) in Singapore. The role delivers security monitoring services for assigned customers and environments, working closely with global teams, and is offered on a full-time basis with hybrid work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security monitoring services for assigned customers and environments
• Run Early Warning services on the ESET Threat Intelligence (ETI) platform
• Tune the threat monitoring system in assigned environments
• Analyse security threats and evaluate data on potential threats
• Prepare internal and external reports and communicate incidents with customers
• Contribute to developing new monitoring technologies, the ETI threat reporting system and security threat reporting
• Consult independently on cybersecurity for external customers and recommend improvements
• Work with malware detection systems and colleagues on in-depth malware analysis
• Keep up with new threats and turn them into product improvement proposals
• Design and improve security service processes and write instructions for Threat Monitoring and Threat Hunting

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Forensics, Information Security or a related field
• Prior experience in cyber intrusion detection, investigation and analysis
• Cybersecurity certification is advantageous
