Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the Pullman Singapore Hill Street premises, guests, staff and assets. You will work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure a safe and secure environment throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security checks on all incoming and outgoing persons and vehicles.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond promptly to any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain guest safety.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of security‑related incidents and report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Carry out access‑control duties, checking identification and issuing passes to authorised personnel.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Attend fire and safety training courses as required.

Required profile

• Completed Basic Security Course (BSC).
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods, patrol and respond to emergencies.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Calm under pressure with fast reaction to situations.
