Senior Accountant

About the role

The company is a multinational technology and manufacturing leader operating in Singapore. It seeks a Senior Accountant to manage finance operations for both local and overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense approvals.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Execute full‑set month‑end closing and prepare management reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Liaise with external auditors for local and group audits, prepare audit schedules, and address queries.
• Implement and monitor internal controls over purchasing, sales, expenses, and inventory movements.
• Assist with corporate income tax computation and coordinate with tax agents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate secretarial requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
