Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead finance operations for a multinational technology and manufacturing organization in Singapore. The role involves managing the full set of accounts for local and overseas subsidiaries and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense approvals.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Execute full‑set month‑end closing independently and prepare management reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Liaise with external auditors for local and group audits, prepare audit schedules, and address audit queries.
• Implement and monitor internal controls over purchasing, sales, expenses, and inventory movements.
• Assist with corporate income tax computation and coordinate with tax agents for filing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate secretarial regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
