Senior Accountant

About the role

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and oversee its Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes in Singapore. The role combines financial reporting, cash management, and control responsibilities while supporting the company’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead O2C and P2P processes with the shared service provider to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, board materials, and oversee intercompany transactions, capital projects, GST reporting, treasury, and statutory reporting.
• Monitor accounts receivable, perform sales reconciliations, analyze aged balances, and drive timely cash collection through root‑cause analysis.
• Strengthen financial controls by supporting internal and external audits, Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, process improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to improve financial performance, support budgeting, special projects, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting with strong exposure to O2C and P2P processes.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, auditing, GST reporting, and intercompany accounting.
• Leadership experience and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with solid understanding of accounting standards and SOX compliance.
