Senior Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team in Ang Mo Kio. You will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices, make timely payments, and negotiate payment terms.
• Issue customer invoices, follow up overdue amounts, resolve billing issues and monitor AR aging.
• Perform bank reconciliations, credit control, inter‑company transactions and cash‑flow tracking.
• Prepare monthly and year‑end journals, financial reports and tax returns.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the ERP system, set up new customers/suppliers and collaborate on system improvements.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend updates to internal controls.
• Mentor junior team members and provide financial insights to non‑finance departments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in engineering or trading environments.
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
