Senior Analyst, Information System Management (Corporate)

About the role

The Information Technology Group (ITG) at FTI Consulting supports the business goals of the firm through technology investments. The Senior Analyst acts as a bridge between the IT organization and business users, combining technical and analytical skills with the ability to understand business needs and communicate with non-technical stakeholders. The role provides end-user support for FTI's financial systems and supports projects covering integrations and acquisitions, including the assessment, identification and functional definition of requirements and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve support requests for TM1, Datamart and Unit4 ERP through ServiceNow (SNOW)
• Administer, maintain and support the TM1 environment so it stays reliable, accurate and aligned with business needs
• Investigate and solve complex issues across financial systems, addressing root causes
• Use SQL to investigate data, troubleshoot problems, identify anomalies, resolve interface errors and validate reporting results
• Translate business needs into technical solutions by working with non-technical users to gather requirements
• Contribute to TM1 projects and enhancements to improve functionality, processes, reporting and user experience

Required profile

• General background in IT, Finance, Economics or Tax
• Wide-ranging technical experience and ability to exercise technical judgement
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Independent work with collaboration across functions; general supervision

Required skills

• Strong SQL experience, querying and analysing data across multiple tables and sources
• ServiceNow (SNOW)
• TM1, Datamart and Unit4 ERP
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Analytics or a related field, ERP support, data validation and reconciliation, and planning, analytics and reporting applications
