Senior Assistant Manager – EdTech & AI Enablement

About the role

NTU’s Institute for Pedagogical Innovation, Research & Excellence (InsPIRE) is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to lead EdTech and AI enablement across the university. You will work directly with faculty to embed generative AI into teaching, design AI‑enhanced courses, and showcase innovative learning assets.

Key responsibilities

• Enable faculty to teach with AI through workshops, clinics and onboarding sessions.
• Consult with faculty and course teams on AI‑enhanced course and assessment design.
• Create and showcase AI‑built learning assets, prompt workflows and use cases.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging EdTech and AI tools, translating policy into practical guardrails.
• Plan and execute communications to raise awareness and drive adoption of enablement programmes.
• Track participation, adoption and impact, reporting findings to continuously improve the cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Communications or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in EdTech, learning design or staff capability development, including hands‑on work with generative AI.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training or workshops for academic audiences.
• Proven consultancy experience advising educators on course and assessment design.
• Strong written communication skills for internal audiences.

Required skills

• Practical use of generative AI tools such as Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude.
• Experience building AI‑generated learning content, media or workflow prompts.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning tools.
